Getting started
Open the app and tap New project, give it a name, then build the room one wall at a time — type each wall's length and tap a direction. Switch to the Features tab to drop in doors, windows, sockets, lighting and plumbing. When you're ready, tap Preview to see the floor plan, wall elevations and the totals, then export or turn it straight into a quote.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes. Measuring, plans, elevations and quotes all run on your device, so a basement, a loft or a new build with no reception is no problem — nothing waits on a connection to upload or process.
Where is my data stored, and is it backed up?
Everything you create is saved on your device. Because nothing is uploaded to a server, your surveys aren't automatically backed up — so for jobs you want to keep, use Share / Export to save a copy somewhere safe. You can read the full detail in our privacy policy.
Which devices are supported?
Android phones and tablets, and iPhone and iPad. Download free from Google Play or the Apple App Store — the store listing will confirm whether your specific device is supported.
What can I export?
Branded PDFs and images you can email to clients straight away, plus vector exports for carrying the drawing into other tools. Add your logo and business details and they'll appear on your floor plans and quotes.
Something isn't working as expected
First, close the app fully and reopen it, and make sure you're on the latest version from the store. If the problem continues, email us at the address above with your device model, your Android or iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened — a screenshot helps us a lot.
How do I remove my data or delete the app?
Your surveys live only on your device, so uninstalling BlueprintBuddy removes them. To clear individual surveys without uninstalling, delete them from the dashboard with the bin icon. If you'd like confirmation that we hold nothing of yours, email us — but as a rule, we don't, because your data never leaves your phone.
